Empty Faces

sitting alone with the clock on the wall
endless hours of numbers fall
clouds of doubt circle above
all i need is just a little shove
flickers of lighting reflect my eyes
they lack remorse & compromise

now i’m paranoid of my disgraces
and confused by what my mind misplaces
there’s happiness in empty faces
‘cause they can’t see me at all

silent thunder wakes the dead
showers of memories inside my head
tears are crashing to the floor
reckless waves against a lonely shore
skin is flooding with disease
the winds have brought me to my knees

i’m paranoid of my disgraces
confused by what my mind misplaces
there’s happiness in empty faces
‘cause they can’t see me at all

sitting alone with the clock on the wall–

i’m paranoid of my disgraces
confused by what my mind misplaces
there’s happiness in empty faces
‘cause they can’t see me at all–
